Crime prevention West Wickham: Selecta DNA kits handed out on the High Street.

West Wickham Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) David has given out Selecta DNA marking kits to the businesses on the High Street.  Along with these Advanced Forensic marking kits, has also handed out laminated signs to each store reading “No cash is left on the premisses overnight” to prevent any further incidents.

Many residents have noticed these signs going up in the windows of many of our West Wickham stores.

Stores in the town centre were being targeted, to steal the cash register or cash inside.

The Selecta DNA marks the property with a clear liquid which is unique to each bottle or pack. This is highlighted under UV Light, alerting the police to where the items located or found originate from.

If you want to use this on your property. visit Securebydesign who advertise the Selecta DNA Advanced Forensic Marking kits on their site.
